If you are looking to make an impact on your personal income this year, here are suggested proven steps for making it happen:
One: Align yourself with a company that you can get excited about. Do your research. Find one that shares your values. Make sure the products or services offered are something that people would be willing to pay for consistently on a month to month basis.
Two: Align yourself with someone within the organization who has a proven track record. If they have had success, you will learn so much more from them than from a local friend who is just starting out. Make sure this person has your best interests in mind. Conduct multiple conversations with this person and feel them out. Make sure they will help you to get past the learning curve patiently and professionally. Your success is their success, but a lot of mentors or sponsors take this for granted.
Three: Once you have joined the company and have completed your company training, follow the lead of your sponsor. They will suggest you begin by promoting your business to friends and family. That is okay for an initial push, and over a sixty to ninety day period may help you to generate some momentum.
Four: Within your first sixty days, implement an effective online marketing strategy. This is where so many people drop the ball. Regardless of the company that you have chosen, if your strategy is to only market to friends and family, you have a high percentage chance of failure. An effective marketing strategy is crucial to your long term success.
Five: Be proactive. If you run out of local leads, you are dead in the water. Get your marketing program up and running as a compliment to your primary business long before you have exhausted all of your local leads.
Six: Educate yourself properly. A credible online marketing program should provide you with an excellent platform for ongoing education. Take advantage of it. Spend no less than one hour per day developing your skills as a marketing person.
Seven: Position yourself as a business professional. If you are in the right marketing program, you will quickly become an expert on at least one aspect of the business. Over time, a credible program will allow you to confidently become an expert in all things related to online marketing. The right program should allow you to position yourself as such.
Eight: Develop a streamlined approach to getting people into your business. If your marketing program is of any value at all, the program will help you to create lead capture pages, websites, and blogs all designed to point people in the same single direction. You want to have as many entry points as possible all pointing back to you.
Nine: Get your people actively involved in your marketing strategy. If Local MLM Marketing was a struggle for you, it will most likely be the same for them as well. Plug them into your online marketing program as soon as possible. If they are resistant, be patient with them, but over time help them to realize the value of an effective online marketing strategy and how it has helped you.
Ten: It is not about you. If you come across as greedy or needy, you will fall flat on your face. If you decide from day one that your main focus is in helping others to achieve success, you will be successful. Remember the patient approach that your sponsor took with you when you started, and then do the same for them, only tenfold. If you get your people on firm ground from day one, your retention rate will drastically improve and greatly increase your chance of success.

I now consider myself an internet marketing expert. The only time I really had any success online with MLM was when I was being “given” quality leads
Ever since then I have been trying to bring my business onto the internet, and only recently have had success.
I had to “grow up” and start taking my business seriously if I wanted to make some money at it.
This article is about what I learned during that time. Hopefully you can take it and learn to create your own MLM lead generation machine. We want to have as many MLM leads for our program as we need. Once we know how how to create the leads… then the rest we can figure out later… Here is where I went wrong…
1. I was doing it backwards..
I was naively hopingthat the systemwas going to “sell itself”.. This was the biggest mistake in my thinking. I had the mistaken idea that If I just told enough people about my program, thenenough people would sign up to really get it worthwhile.
The probem was not with the company I was with… The problem was that I did not “add value” to the company. There was nothing special about me that would cause anyone to join with me, instead of with another person. Why should they want to come in with me? Just because I was pestering them? Anyone that joined because I pestered them so much wasn’t a very good canidate in the first place.
There had to be a compelling reason above and beyond the company itself why someone would want to join with me.
2. I learned to turn the marketing cycle “right side up”.
Another main thing that I was doing wrong was I was “pushing” myself, my company, and the opportunity. By pushing I mean being obknoxsious, talking about my company with every word, spending every waking monment trying to recruit, and basically being a pest… both online and offline. I also thought that If I just injected myself (or my link, or my company) into every possible avenue both online and offline, that would gain me the exposure that I needed to grow my businesss. Wrong answer…

(As a side note… don’t every just post your links all over the place… especially on social networking sites… No one cares about your links… If you have something that is unique and valueable that you created…, people like that..)
The online top earning guys were “attracting” people to themselves. I liked that idea. Instead of “pushing” ( or sometimes called “puking”) there opportunity onto people, people were actually seeking them out wanting to work with them.
Would it really be possible to create a “passive” stream of mlm leads?
3. Attraction Marketing
Then I started to Study a concept by Mike Dillard called Attraction Marketing. This was totally foriegn to me andat first and I didn’t “get it” The basic premise was that if you could show yourself as an expert or a leader in a particular field then people would want to be around you and would want to work with you.
How would I become a leader?… Who would think I was some sort of expert? How could I do that anyway?
4. Content Marketing
I realized that it was just learning enough about a concept to be able to provide some good information to others. For example… I know a little about content marketing, andcreating online MLM leads, that is why you’re here.
At first I didn’t feel confident enoughto share with others… The fact of the matter is just about everyone is an expert on something. Usually we like to talk about the things that we are passionate about..
By creating good content, I was able to show people that I could add value. This in turn, creates a trust between the reader and myself. This is the foundation to ultimately working together and recruiting plenty of people into my business.
This “model” works for everyone all the time… All you have to do is implement it..

You must “reengineer” yourself with a new mindset and a openness to discover new skills and go about your business differently.
Many that start their MLM’s are under the false assumption that “everyone” will want to join them and/or buy their products.
It’s an reasonable, yet naive, idea, after all if it is good enough for you…. then it should be good enough for everyone.
Doesn’t work that way. Many of us come into the business without really having any idea about how to actually market the program.
Two specific ideas for your online mlm lead machine.
Don’t ever purchase MLM leads. Many who spend money on MLM leads end up regretting it later. MLMleads.com is a site that makes a lot of money selling mlm leads so they should be avoided.
As with any business there are financial costs. It is unreasonable to think that you can build a significant business without investing in education, tools, and resources.. You should understand that there will be some costs, but purchasing MLM leads should not be one of those expenses.
There is a better way. Create those leads yourself.
Here’s a trick to learn this system quickly
There are a couple of ideas that if you use them correctly, you can have some great success generating your own MLM leads.
The are two main strategies that seem to work for most people are Attraction Marketing, and Content Marketing.
Both of these concepts when combined together can create a free source of Targeted MLM Leads.
When done correctly these two concepts would be what you would need to use to create as many MLM leads as youneed.
Attraction Marketing.
Attraction Marketing is basically using the concept that we want to work with people that we know, respect, and are winners. We like to surround ourself with people at the top of their game. Our humanity is full of “winners” and we seem to flock around them. We like people that have accomplished what we would like to accomplish.
Attraction Marketing is about turning that around, so you become the famous and respected one.
To do that… we must provide valueable content..
This is the second strategy… Content Marketing
Content Marketing is the pathway that will help you gain that popularity and respect on the internet. when you give worthy content to your prospective audience, you will have respect and confidence with your readership. If you can help someone with a problem, or answer a question for them, then you will gain their respect… They will start to admireyou… This is the beginning of being successful online.
You can start to use these ideas today, to generate MLM leads.

Most of the information on “HOW” to market is not shared with the “recruit” is looking at the new MLM company.
I’m sure that you are aware of the 97% rule.Most MLM’ers never make more than100$ (US) or sponsor more than one person.
I believe their are a couple of reasons.
1.No one told the prospect prior to joining, what it was actually going to take.
Most people join a Network Marketing Company without knowing what they need to know in order to growtheir new opportunity. Most join a Mlm because they saw aproduct that they had a need for. If they understood the marketing plan, maybe that helped them in their decision as well. Most people never really have an idea of how to actually sellthat service and or opportunity. They are told that the old school marketing model will be successful,and you’ll make money by just “recruiting” a few people..
Unfortunately for most, this just doesn’t work.. Mlm’ers need a lead generation machine.
With such a high failure rate in MLM, its very likely that the upline doesn’t know how to market either.. For the few that are successful, maybe there are certain ideasabout their business that they don’t want to share, because that may cause you to compete for “their prospects”…
When a new prospect decides to join a new MLM company or program, rarely is the long term marketing strategy discussed in any detail. It’s actually impossible to know what you do not know. The company may be one of the best companies ever, but unless you have a long term marketing strategy, you will have limited success.
2. Many Mlm’ers just aren’t committed
New prospects are not knowledgeable in the marketing side of growing thier business. They are not aware of the effort , time and money that it may take to get their business up and running. They fell in love with the business itself, not “HOW” the opportunityis going to be marketed. After further research and discovery they become conscious to the factthat it is actually going to takean education, time, effort, and probably a few bucks to get started.
This is also a point at which many drop out. No one was ever never told what it would really take to build their business online. They were just told how great the opportunity is and how amazing their service is and that they can come aboard
Many MLM ‘ers never end up creating their own Mlm leads because they were never taught how. They were never taught, they never knew what they would need to do.
3. Most strugglebecause they don’t have the needed resources
To be a winner online regardless of the product or service that you are selling you will need new skills and abilities. There are two options that people must decided when they realize that they don’t have everything that they need.
They either quit, or learn how to generate their own MLM leads online.

Many people who join a direct marketing business follow the lead of their sponsor without question. From day one, they are told to generate a list of all friends and family, co-workers, former classmates, etc. It is suggested that they learn the basics of the company, i.e. the products, the company overview and the compensation plan. Armed with this knowledge and their list of new leads, the typical distributor is up and running within a few weeks.
They have heard success stories from their mentor about people in the company making tens of thousands of dollars. Some key leaders are mentioned by name and their earnings are parroted by thousands of reps within the organization. If they can do it, so can you, or at least that is how the story goes. Most new distributors are excited in the beginning and are eager to get started. Once they have been in for a few months, reality begins to set in and they realize that success is not that easy to come by.
Out of one hundred people on a typical local leads list, only five to ten at best are going to join the company. Most people have a finite list of potential leads, and when that list is exhausted, that is when the frustration sets in. You have a monthly financial commitment to the company. In order to maximize your compensation, you are required to purchase the products or services at a specific price point. If you have any commitment at all to the business, you have also committed yourself to at least a small monthly marketing budget. When you compare your outgoing dollars monthly to your monthly compensation, doubt starts to set in as to whether it is worth your time and effort to continue.
A few people are just headstrong and persistent. They get over the break-even hump by any means necessary. Those are the people that are talked about and held up as success stories within a direct marketing organization. They are also the ones who have an effective MLM marketing strategy . Most however, do not have an answer for that stage of the process where they feel like they are in limbo. They are making some money, but they are also spending just as much to stay in the game. When most people reach that crossroads, their direct marketing dreams have the potential of dying on the vine. If you have reached that point, you have to ask yourself, “What is the one thing that I am missing that would allow me to move forward and become successful. This was supposed to be my path to financial independence. What do I need in order to reach my original goals?”
The answer is simple. You have run out of leads. Credible MLM Leads were the lifeblood of your business from day one. You assembled your list and put gas in your tank. When you ran out of leads, you ran out of gas. As stated earlier, local leads are finite. National and international leads, however are infinite. You can go to any number of places on the internet and find sites set up to help you generate leads for your business. I promise you, they are everywhere. The problem is that it may take you eight, nine or ten tries and thousands of dollars spent before you figure out how to tie all of this information together into one cohesive program that works effectively for you. The good news is that this is not necessary. There are programs that already exist that are all-inclusive; these programs fall under the category of an effective MLM marketing strategy.
These programs take the best of everything that is offered online and put an umbrella over the process. An all-inclusive turnkey marketing strategy is a must these days if you plan to become an effective downline builder. You need a program that will help you to generate unlimited leads online and help you to get cash flow positive quickly. You need a marketing strategy that is duplicatable in order to increase your long term retention. You can only train so many people effectively one on one. Do your due diligence. Put some gas back in your tank and move forward. You started with your local leads and you may have been able to expand that list over time, but if you are out of leads or running out soon, do not despair. Find a marketing strategy that is right for you. Do not wait. Step out of your comfort zone. Do your research and implement an effective MLM Marketing Strategy that will help you reach your goals.

What would you write about? Or create videos about? That’s easy. You would create content about something you either know a lot about. Or something you have a passion for….. something you love.
Bingo!
If you are interested in something – have a passion for it – you can bet other people are to. If you know something about it, there are people who want to know what you know. That is your niche. Or it can become your niche. Your niche market includes a group of thousands of other people that share common interests and problems. You are to be the expert that helps them solve their problems. Now take it a step further…
Zero in on Your Ideal Prospect
Identifying a niche is absolutely essential to generating network marketing leads. But identifying your ideal prospect increases your success level. A moment ago we said that a niche is composed of a group of thousands of other people that share common interests and problems. Thousands of people still remain faceless in our minds. But an ideal prospect is a person.
Your ideal prospect is the one person that represents everyone else in your niche. Get a very thorough picture in your mind what this ideal prospect is like. Get to know her as well as you can. Know how she feels about things. Know how she will respond to your content. Understand what her problems are. And then…
Answer Your Ideal Prospect’s Questions
She has certain problems she wants to solve. Otherwise she would not be spending time on the internet. If you pummel her with your opportunity and products she will be gone. She is not looking for these. She is looking for solutions. Help her find these solutions. Be to her the expert consultant that is there providing what she needs.
You already know what she needs. You identified that when you described who your idea prospect is. Now put yourself in her place. Feel what she feels. Sense what she is trying to find. And then provide it for her. Learning to do this well will skyrocket your success in generating network marketing leads.
