A Mind For Success

I have found this article helpful for some of my readers.

The evening hours are a perfect time to set yourself up for success when the following day rolls around. Being organized and ready to roll when the alarm clock sounds allows you to begin your morning with an air of calmness, togetherness and avoids morning discombobulation and potential stress filled situations, which is no way to begin your day.

Getting ready for your subsequent day doesn’t have to eat up a lot of time the night before. Creating a list of what needs to happen is quick and easy and once a routine is established and practiced, you’ll be set up to fly through the following days events in a jiffy. Perhaps developing a “Things to-do List” on your computer for easy access on a nightly basis will avoid wasted time of consistently having to create a checklist day after day.

Here is a potential array of Lovely Lady activities that could be included on your “Things to-do List.” Be sure to add your personal items that relate to your life and daily events.

~Be sure to record your on-goings for the day ahead.
~Always add exercise to your list. Whether you follow through or not each day it will serve as a reminder to you and eventually create the movement habit.
~Clothes are laid out; breakfast and lunch are prepared and ready to go.
~Note any appointments and include their phone number on the list so that you are ready to call first thing in the morning or call ahead and leave a message.
~If shopping for needed items make it a point to write down the essential requirements and check for money saving coupons for your necessities.
~Have “good” snacks in baggies prepared at all times ready to go.
~Look for opportunities on your schedule of events to downsize your obligations for the day.
~If your “Things to-do List” is overwhelming don’t be afraid to ask for help. Remember now, one major goal of losing weight and feeling better is that you enhance the well-being of self; this requires time and focus on your part and the willingness to alter your pattern of behavior.
~Go to bed in the right frame of mind for the upcoming day: eating right, drinking water and some form of daily exercise.
~Feel free to schedule downtime on your list. Any amount of time you are willing to give yourself is better than zero. It doesn’t have to be an enormous amount just a sampling will do.

As you can see, being prepared is a massive element toward your level of success. Make it happen!
